Acquisition Overview
The acquisition combines two exceptional technology portfolios and teams to create one of the world’s leading Connected Home management solutions. Affinegy acquires an industry-leading, advanced TR-069 Auto Configuration Server (ACS) solutions platform; core patents; engineering, business operations and interoperability testing teams; and customers across the globe. The strong strategic, product and cultural synergies between the two organizations strongly position Affinegy for rapid, global growth.
Why Sagemcom TR-069 Software Solutions
The team was among those that pioneered the development and commercialization of TR-069 beginning in 2004. Their products are highly scalable, redundant and carrier-grade and have been proven in deployments worldwide in more than 25M households. The product portfolio is complemented by an automated Interoperability test tool for baseline TR-069 device tests and a testing team that completes full device certification and performance and scaling benchmarks for the simulated full-scale deployment.
